I ruined my inner guards, then removed them and made custom front and ends. You will need to raise the car to avoid this reoccurring.

what do you think about lower profile tyres as a solution?

Instead of screwing around with tyres, I'm going to check the model of the Koni shocks, they might be height adjustable by moving some rings.
