id also like to mention that 2 of my yellowspeed adustment knobs do not click going to the right but do to the left so im guessing that halfish a turn equates to one click.

I have the HSD HR coilovers, and I think they're pretty decent (at least much better than my 22 year old stock ones). Nice and soft at softest, bone shattering hard at hardest. That said, I haven't tried others, so I'd have no comparison. They can be lowered quite low if you want, and the extra space at the rear really helps with rear travel.

I just picked up Koni sports and ground controls for under $1300 shipped. Seems to be a well regarded combination giving height and damper adjustability and CG will allow you to specify spring rates (I went with 400/275).

Most coilovers will allow you to specify spring rates - you just may have to wait for them to be made or delivered if you pick something usual. 8kg / 5kg or 9kg / 6kg is normally alway available.

Also if you are happy with entry level coilovers, then 949Racing have Tein Street Basis for US$689 with shipping around $300 which with the healthy Aussie dollar atm means you'll have them at your door in a few days for $950 ish...

Thanks all for the feedback, I ended up taking Dweezle up on a good offer for his as new Yellowspeeds, I figured I can put the money saved into a few other things for the car
