Re: Street/Track pads with good cold performance
I had EBC Redstuff fitted a few weeks ago, and very happy with them for the road. I haven't used them on the track yet, so time will tell how they like that. I have heard good things about their track day abilities.
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

Re: Street/Track pads with good cold performance
Red stuff is fine for performance road work. I have them on the NC at the moment but they ARE NOT a track pad.
I had great chunks of pad material rip away from the backing plate when I used them on the track. They even say on the packet that they are not for track use.
I change out the pads for track work and use the yellows. They dust like hell but they stop and don't disintergrate.

Re: Street/Track pads with good cold performance
I have used a set of QFM A1RM pads on my NB8B for a full season which included 8 track days and covered 15k km since fitting them.
I have had no issues either with overheating or chucking with good performance on both the road and track.
Fronts are about half worn, rears are barely worn
For the techno, Cold friction is 0.40, high 0.48 and an operating temperature range of 0-780 deg C
Rear pads for the NB8B are deemed a special order and took 3 weeks for delivery.
I bought mine through GSL Rally Sport with no issues.
