Each to their own guys..Personally I would rather save $300, then worry about a warranty. You have to remember that some people on this forum dont have thousands of dollars to spend on their cars, so they try save some cash where its possible.

You dont have to come into the thread, and pay us out for trying to save some money. Have some respect for other peoples financial situations..

I am all for saving money, but save it where it is sensible.

To save $200, not $300, that is about 9% of the cost, and not have warranty on something that will cost at least that to repair is just plain silly.

I have been told by some-one in the know that most imported Tein do not come complete!

Didn't mean to bag anybody personally, just saying support local, keep at least some of the money in Australia.

You are probably correct. I made an off-the-cuff comment that was meant in jest and was taken the wrong way. O well.

Tein and Fulcrum spent a lot of time developing the suspension package, which is different to the overseas versions, and I personally believe that you should be supporting an Australian company for the small increase in cost that is involved.

i had read somewhere on here about it costing $2400 for flex locally (brisbane). when i first looked at buying from the US it was cheaper, but the US dollar has strengthened a bit recently so it cost more than i hoped. either way its costs similar perhaps - not like anyone loses really.
