Funny thing is, I've only ever had the opposite impression from the low offset wheels. It seems lighter (which made sense to me since the wheels were waggling in a sort of arc, instead of pivoting on one spot) and there is a slight wooliness on centre, so you need to turn the wheel a smidge more to get the car committed to a corner. But after that there is more grip, no question. Odd that we've always had opposite impressions on the results
