It's off the reputation of the superceeded A539, that we all (mostly) adored.

silverstone 205 40 17's
@ $135 each cnr
great grip wet
excellent grip dry
got real hot after 10 laps flat out at eastern creek and started under steer and over steer but ok after a rest for the next ten ( but they are not made for that sh*t anyway )

20,000 ks and counting but wil be due very soon
excellent wearing tyre in my opinion and good value for money as far as cheap rubber goes, very capable on dodgy sydney roads never had a flat , or had them pinched by the rim etc

Tyre life - good! Been to 2 track days and still well over 50% tread. But then off track I don't drive much (8000km a year).
Road noise - low...cos of my exhaust :P

Type - Michelin PP2
Size - 195/50/15
Price - $165/tyre (Michelin $50-00 cashback deal for buying 4 tyres)
Dry grip - Excellent (4/5)
Wet grip - Not sure - not been out in the wet.
Tyre life - Not sure - only done 2000km.
Road noise - Very low
One of the best road tyres I have had - low noise and very good grip, once they are up to temperature! Turn in & steering was improved as well as good comfort running @ 28psi. Even better turn in with 32psi.
