I have got 17s on mine.

looks much better in my opinion, and the handling is only marginally worse.

what are people's thoughts on the SE's 17" racing hart rims. i understand they are very light (5kg). Is the suspension tuned for this size rim?

Can't tell you what they'd be like on an NA6, but they're very easily bent. I've swapped them out for NB 16's after bending one on a pothole. Oh and decent performance rubber's expensive on them, not really much of an issue if you're interested in show rather than go.
