Bingo!
Is it just me or do they look like they could be taken for 16's?

Yep. These wheels are around $1200 with the centre caps from Mazda Spares.

Thanks Josh!
The original wheels were surprisingly light, and after reading about how everyone seems to not want heavier wheels I was keen to pick up the new ones and compare. Having come off the latest Mazda2 I assumed in advance that they wouldn't be unnecessarily heavy. They are definitely heavier than the originals, but I don't know the exact weight.
My first impression is that the car has a little less shudder on the nasty stuff and just feels more connected to corrugated roads. So, the ride has improved marginally and all I can think of is that there is a bit of extra weight in the corners.
When I drove to the tyre place I had one rim with it's tyre on in the boot, one behind the passenger seat and the two others in the passenger seat. The suspension does seem to like more weight in the car. Whether it's a passenger or ballast.
Anyway, I love the look of these wheels on the 5 and plan to drive on 15's for my duration with the NB. I don't mind the stock spec of the NB8A.
Jinba ettai, dude...
