Engineering and material principles do not change because it is a roadster.

Then yes they have been made to work on other cars, and yes on MX5's however a certain brand is known to fail.

'A certain brand' is a far cry from 'NO, these are not available for good reasons!'
Bad engineering of one brand is not a good reason for not using adjustable control arms at all.

At least for the MX5 there are better ways to get the adjust ability in the front. Extended lower ball joints or off set bushes or V8 roadster full front setup.
I'm happy to be wrong, did a heap of research when building my track car, would have gone for drop spindles but can not be used in my class of racing.

Had a little spare time this afternoon so took my new NA to have an alignment done. It's sitting at stock height so I wasn't expecting to be able to achieve a lot of negative camber but it could barely be adjusted into negative on the front at all. I had a look at it with them and the camber adjustment wasn't completely maxed but it wasn't far from it. I could get more negative on the back than the front. It is pretty even side to side so I don't believe it's anything major being bent.
So at the front caster is around 5deg, camber is only a few minutes into the negative and toe is neutral. Fairly even side to side.
Rear camber has been set to negative 15min and 1.5mm total toe in and again is even side to side.
My old car was lowered a fair bit but not ridiculously so but I'm sure I used to get around -1.5 deg of camber on the front. I am going to lower it shortly but not a great deal, probably an inch at most, then I'll see what change that brings but for those better versed than me, does this point to anything? Bushes worn? Camber bolts worn/bent? Surely you should be able to get at least negative 30min or so on stock suspension?
