Hiya guys,
Is Eibach the best way to go or does anyone rate the Whiteline springs available for the ND MX5?
I was going Tein Flex Z Coilovers but thought I consider the above two options first.

Really depends on usage. Road only, get the eibachs (don't know the whiteline specs because their website has no info) as that is all you really need (about $460 delievered). If you are going to do trackdays etc. then get the teins ($1250). On miata.net the meisterr coilovers have been getting great reviews and work out around $1500-$1600 delivered with a choice of either comfort oriented springs or more track oriented springs.

I am very happy with the Eibachs on my ND. Great value and great for the road. In Europe, Mazda dealers provide the Eibachs as a dealer fitted accessory. Check out miata.net for all the positive reviews on these springs, and we get the USA version of the springs here.

I just do street weekend drives in the ND so Eibach sound ideal.
Do the AU/US version have the same drop as EU?
What sort of prices have you guys had with figment and alignment? I was quoted $1000 supplied and fitted.

I had the US spec (car now sold)and they were great.I bought the springs and had a local guy fit and do a custom alignment,$700 all up.Best bang for your buck set up and i have had just about all of them over the years.Perfect for what you want!

The Euro springs are slightly stiffer and have more drop. If you want those you can them shipped from mx5parts in the U.K. Make sure whoever you get to install follows the instructions to ensure that the bushes are not binding when tightening bolts. Check out Goodwin Racing site for instructions on fitting their springs.

Speaking as someone who had the Eibach springs and then swapped out for a full set of coilovers (MCA, there's a thread on it with my thoughts here) there's a big difference between the two.
Eibach's are a good bang for buck mod if you want to spend a grand dropping ride height and dialling out some pitch and roll. If you feel like springing another $500 to a $1000 you can get a great set of coilovers and do the job "properly". Wish I'd skipped the lowering springs and saved myself the money in hindsight.
I have to say there's no way I'd go back to just springs, the coilovers I have are far superior in terms of comfort and handling. The ability to adjust the damping is fantastic too so I can change it to suit long highway cruises, my DD setting and a track happy laps setting.
Either way, you're car will be improved for making the change. Up to you as to how far you want to take it

Running the Flex Z's and been super happy with them, possibly the best mod I've made to the car. With the car running dual roles, being able to dial it up for track and then back to downright comfortable for the road is a huge plus for me.

I was about to order Eibach Pro Springs from MX5 Parts UK and had a chat with Eibach AU and the guy said the AU spec uses the US front eibach springs and the EU rear springs.. Apparently the US front springs suit our ND’s in AU (particularly the 2.0L like I have) compared to the EU front springs..
How accurate is this above information??

I just went with the AU Eibachs in the end. The suspension place seemed pretty switched on regarding install essentially the same as Goodwins instructions so have faith they will be installed correctly ..
