Interesting reading all the inputs...
The primary and pressing issue that took me to get my alignment checked was that front inner tyres were getting worn more than the outsides...the left more so, and this is after a track day, 3 hillclimb days and several thousand ks. I couldn't get my head around why.
The alignment showed that camber on the left had gone out to 2deg from 1.5 and toe out had followed to 7mm total. My first step is correct the excessive inner tyre wear, and bring the toe back to near 0, in this case, .5mm toe in. So, I had the answer to my question.
As the car was given back to me and we were off the alignment jig he tells me that the rears are set at2deg and couldn't be pulled in any further.
At this point I am still contemplating whether to try and get more wear out of my shagging tyres , buy new replacements and if so go harder or softer again, buy spare set of track wheels...and with all this what alignment settings do I want. In light of that, the 2 deg rear info is still a safe step forward with my daily driver car. Honestly, I have instant oversteer with this300hp car anytime I want with the throttle.
Theoretically I would want 2 to 2.5 -camber in the front..but my tyres are already near bald on the inside and I would like a few more ks out of them, with some more tyre pressure to stabilise wear a little. Ill see how they run, ideally again Id buy a new set of road tyres, but at this point a second set of stickier track wheels/tyres will yield a better outcome to deal with the traction issue on these nankang s spec semis/pseudo semis.

Last time I got an alignment they couldn't get any more than 1.5degs camber in the front, so set it to 1.5 all round.
Was hoping for 2 in the front and 1.5 in the rear and wondered if its my ride height?
105mm fronts and 110mm rears, what are you josh?

120mm front..........140mm rear
I need to lower the rear down to around 125mm. Don't know how or why I have it at 20mm rake I blame the Americans and their imperial measurements lol (Dont get me started on wideband sensor spanner sizes )
This might explain somewhat why I was struggling for rear grip at Wakefield and the recent Hillclimb going by 949Racings tips: "In general, once we have an alignment we like, the only tuning we do at the track is to raise and lower the rear to fine tune. Lower to add rear grip, raise to reduce it."
I had an off day at Wakefield (mentally) but the only thing I had changed car wise between then and the time before was ride height and an alignment. The car was very loose in the rear and I assumed the shitty tyres had finally given up. Hmm...maybe it wasn't all in my head...
It was lower all round but I raised it slightly as the 8inch rims on the front were scrubbing out on the liner over large compressions (dampers turned down for comfort on the street, stiffened for track)
It's pretty easy to lower the rear it so will do that this weekend.

Maybe tidy up where the tyre is scrubbing with dremel...ive got one if you want to use it. I have several areas that have been lightly "trimmed"...

The larger rubber seems to have taken care of any ridges and raises in the gaurd liner anyway so should be all good. Now the SE is getting dríven less on the road I'll drop all 4s down to were it used to be.
