If you run the tyres at a pressure between 36 and 40 PSI you will get at least 10000 to 20000 km more per set of tyres.
Perhaps it is true....however...Logically....the ONLY way a tyre will last longer is by losing less rubber each Klm.....and surly??...that translates to less traction
Mmmm....if I was driving a truck or taxi....more Km/set of tyres would be attractive, but given my MX5 is a toy....most enjoyed on a winding rural road
Personally....I'm Happy to sacrifice tyre longevity....for better grip and smoother ride
