You're posting this question on the wrong forum, this is NOT a rim that anyone should have installed on an MX5 so you're unlikely to find the answer you want here.
Try another forum that focuses on aftermarket modz for all models, you're more likely to find it there - buying an obscure single rim is tough though, owners don't like breaking up a set, even if that set is less than 4 rims and few people would keep a single rim around.
Name this Rodney Jane Racing 18 rim?

I was asking the model name of the rim, and I know that other people have these rims (perhaps in smaller sizes) fitted to MX5s based on google searches, hence me asking in this forum.
Why is this NOT a rim that anyone should have fitted to an mx5?

Its ƒü¢k huge, and heavy as. That might not be a huge deal on a really heavy car like a commodore but its a significant issue for both performance and comfort on an MX5 or other similar lightweight car.

Re: Name this Rodney Jane Racing 18 rim?
The reason it's NOT an MX5 rim is in the title of this thread: 18" rim
NAs initially came with 14" rims, later 15" rims.
Most NBs came with 16" rims.
Unfortunately the SE/MSM, an NB, came with 17" rims due to the wankers in the market division.
Driving on these low profile 17" rims is horrible, the ride is way too harsh and hitting potholes jars the crap out of you and the car, making it feel like you've destroyed the rim.
On top of that, larger diameter rims are heavier and their weight is further out from the hub than 14/15/16" rims. Your wheels are essentially flywheels. The further out the weight is from the centre, the harder they are to accelerate and decelerate. More power is required to accelerate the car (and you don't have much power in a N/A MX5). Harder braking is required to decelerate the car (more wear and tear on brake pads/rotors).
Many SE/MSM owners upgrade to 15" or 16" rims.
Your rims are bigger again - the car must ride and drive like crap, even Mazda couldn't make the SE/MSM's 17" rims work.

Hey be a bit gentle. Some people like the look of large wheels without them being a perfect fit.
I see plenty of Holdens with 20in wheels and I bet they don't get flack from the purists. Maybe they do but who cares.
Yes big wheels is largely marketing crap but some people would say that DSG type gearboxes are marketing crap.(me)

Rear spoilers on a non race car are definitely marketing crap.
Paint the wheels gunmetal, lower the car and everyone will love your wheels.
