I have the KU39s on my 2010. Bang for buck tyre, extremely good in the wet and it wears very evenly but that's also because I'm anal about wheel alignment.
Especially love the stiff sidewalls, even after 15Ks I can get on a roundabout at 40 without thinking about the tyre getting all squashy

Re: Tyre Selection for 2008 NC
Does anyone know if it's ok to have a slightly wider tyre up front?
I've currently got 205/45/R17 Bridgestone re002's all round. Fronts are around 70% and rear 10-20%.
Ideally I'd like to move the fronts to the rear, and get PS3 215/45/R17's on the front. Then when the rears get low, replace with PS3's as well. I don't like wasting tyres...
If this is a bad idea I'll just do the same with 205 Kumho KU39s instead.
thanks

From this website: http://www.motoring.com.au/advice/2014/ ... yres-48203
The front and rear tyres on your car have a different job to do and generally, the tyres on the dríven wheels will wear faster. However, regardless of whether your car is front, rear or all-wheel drive, you should always fit the newest tyres or those with the greatest tread to the rear as they provide the essential stability to ensure effective braking, steering and traction.
