HPS are ok on the street
They didn't cut it for me on the track, simply overheated and stopped working after three laps

That's pretty surprising. I thought they'd hold up a bit better than that? Anyone else had this experience?

Hmmmm... I've done a bit of reading and it looks like there's a fairly general consensus that HPS aren't that great on the track. There's some that say it's fine, but it seems most reckon otherwise. There was also one which reckoned that the performance ceramic sat between the HPS and HP+, which would be interesting to see if it was true or not.
I wonder whether I should just scratch the Hawk idea and see what other pads will suit my needs?

Yep i got one session at a club day out of HPS on the track, the brakes were shiet for the rest of the day
Just go HP+ and clean the wheels regularly
This stuff is the best for keeping wheels clean

But basically if you want a road & track pad you are going to have dust and a lot of it.
The best thing to do is to have a dedicated set of road pads and rotors and another set for the track and swap before the race day.

Doing the swap isn't something I'm particularly keen on, mostly due to laziness
Regie, That product sounds pretty interesting. Maybe the solution is to keep running the HP+ and just get a bottle of that stuff to clean the rims.

keep the HP's and spend 2 minutes a week cleaning
