NB8A REAR BRAKES (251) to NB8B (276)?

Postby selaga » Sun Aug 03, 2014 9:59 pm

Guys,

What do I need to grab to upgrade the rear brakes on my NB8A to the 276mm setup ?

1. Dust shield,
2. NB8B onwards calliper
3. 276mm rotor ?

All Plug and Play ?

You don't need dust shields. Just pull the old ones off and leave them off, or bend your old ones to fit.

In fact, all you really need are the brackets and the rotors. Your nb8a calipers and pads will pnp with the nb8b brackets and rotors.

You will have more rear bias - do you have a prop valve?

So the NB8A calliper body is the same as NB8B ? So same pad also ?

I run C4 Corvette fronts. Brake bias is fine at the moment.

Caliper pattern is the same. Pad pattern is the same. The piston is bigger in the nb8b caliper.
