After doing a full depower of the power steering rack I had the car aligned with my own settings.
What I wanted was around 3.5 deg of castor, front camber at -2.5 w/ 0 toe, rear at -2.2 w/ 0 toe.
What I got was 5 deg of Castor as they said that was the minimum they could get.
Also to get the castor on both sides the same my camber is now -2.4 L and -2.0 R.
I have BC Coilovers with a hub to guard ride height of 305 F and 310 R, tyres are 205/45 16 POTENZA RE002.
From googling around I should be able to get the settings I want, I've read topics with castor settings down to 3.25 is achievable ?
What's the buzz, does this sound right, or where in Sydney is someone who knows MX5's and can do a alignment for a track/motorkhana set up.
I'm near Liverpool BTW.
