Semi slicks

Postby danga78 » Sat May 03, 2014 12:43 pm

Hi all,

Just wondering what brands everyone running these days for the track and what people reviews are as I'm due for a new set.

Also where people are purchasing these tyres from and the best places to find a bargain.

Thanks in advance
Cheers

Can't comment on track performance but current tyres are ad08R from Bob Jane on the northside. (strathpine?) He looked after me and knows his stuff (bruce iirc) does alot od work for the mx5 people going to lakeside apparently.

AD08Rs are not semi slicks.. They are in the same league as Star Specs..

For true R specs, Yoko A050s seem to be the hot stuff at the moment.

Personally I run Nitto NT01s, for 98% of the speed of A050s at 25% of the price of A050s...
