Rear tyre shredded by too much torque on DD

Clearly I've built up too more leg power thru having to use my bike as my DD:

Those gum wall tyres always go that way. The sides break down. Probably the UV, better to go with a black wall tyre.

My GP4000s did that too. I figured it was from kissing the kerb!
