Rims and tyres are expensive so you're much better off waiting and saving for what you really want, you'll kick yourself in 6 months time if you buy street/poser rims now when you really want to do track days - it's a waste of money, even if you can sell the rims later.

Having said that, you might want to consider 2nd hand rims that someone is selling because they did exactly what you're thinking of now.

ie. They will incur the massive purchase loss from brand new rims - you can pick them up cheap and on-sell them later.

oooook first of all spelling error for the work equip 01's they're 15x7 +25!

and by getting these options i can also read up on the wheels!

I do love the idea that I have seen where people have 2 sets, one for track only, one for daily/looks

so thus far, im looking at purchasing the 01's as the offer is good/hard to find at times.

but i am still researching best track wheel in regards to value:performance and the Ku31's sound better than i thought so i may go about using those tyres for both sets.

Thank everyone for you're input though im building a good list of wheels thus far i can research!

I have 4 sets of wheels tyres now, 3 track and 1 for the road. The road rims are not pretty but they function. 2 sets of track rims will get FZ201's whilst I work out what else needs to be done to the car to handle the extra grip of full slicks. The other track rims will be for a wet tyre.

Lokiel is right rims/tyres are not cheap so if funds are tight go for function over looks.

You can easily and cheaply pick up a set of stock Nb rims chuck some track tyres on and off you go. Grab some plasti dip and change colour whenever you want. Grab a set of street wheels for looks.
