If OEM, consider the forum sponsors like MX5 Mania, Automotive Plus etc for a second hand set.

^ x2 and he's not limited to MX5 rotors either. Dean's the reason I can tow the car trailer safely down Clyde Mountain after every event.

I found for the NC that I could get front DBA T3 rotors imported for LESS than the cost of buying the DBA's here.
At the time the AUD was around $1.03 but even now with it down around 90 cents, you still save money.
You have got to love it when a rotor made here cost $240 each and you export it to the US and they charge $249USD for a pair there.
It cost $140USD to transport them back here and if you throw in a set of SS lines ($109USD) and a set of Hawk Blue pads ($122USD) the transport cost doesn’t go up.
