Hi all, a few months I accidentally snapped the dampening adjustment knob's head-thing off of my Racing Logic Ultra Complex's (Pretty sure they're ultra complex's), I haven't been that troubled with it because the coils are still working fine, just without the ability to adjust dampening.
I've decided to finally look about to try and get this fixed but can't really find that much info (To be honest, I have no idea what I'm looking at/looking for.)
The last pic is from a newer model Racing Logic coil over, however it looks identical to mine, also note the smooth bit underneath the 'rugged' knob and above the black thread is still on my coil over
So that is the thing that snapped off, from my understanding there is a tiny little spring supposed to be somewhere? Again, I have no idea (Please ignore my filthy hands and filthy fingernails, stupid phone decided to focus on them instead)

The above linky is the only thing that I've found somewhat helpful (completely different coil over) but on page 4 there is a picture halfway down the page and their knob looks nearly identical to mine. Are these knobs somewhat universal to the overall design of a general coil over?
If anyone can give me a bit more insight to what I'm looking at, it would be much appreciated. Again, sorry for not being able to explain it clearly/smoothly.

all the racing logic ones i've seen all have had adjusters just like yellow speeds.
before you snapped it, did it lift out normally? or was it locked in like BCs?

Definitely locked in. The others don't lift up, they are a tad springy if you gently push down on them as well.
I think the hex bit that was attached to the head is what has snapped and is still inside. I don't really want to go dismantling things because I've heard horror stories about coils' doing nasty things to human flesh.

I am planning to drop by a Fulcrum on the way home and ask their opinion, but I have a friend coming around Sunday to help me get the remaining pieces out. We plan on drilling a small hole, then tapping a thread and pulling it out with a bolt. Once its out I'll make the decision to leave it or try and find a replacement knob.
