handbrake is in adjustment and works fine, but the handbrake light is still always on. wiring from the switch at the handbrake seems fine.
does the switch complete the circuit to turn the light on, or break the circuit to turn it on when the handbrake is pulled up?

Re: handbrake light always on
Good to know, as my light has been coming on and off since the last 2 track days and I have the same circumstances, fluid level getting low and low pad depth on rear pads, less than half on fronts.
I will be putting my road pads back in which should prove the theory as the fronts are like new and the rears are about half worn. Should bring the fluid back near the top.
I will do the fronts first to confirm that it is fluid level as that is what I reckon it will be.
