V8 roadster tubular control arms

Postby spikey » Mon Mar 04, 2013 2:53 am

Has anyone fitted these to their cars? if you do, how did you find the fitment of these arms? I 'm about to do mine, but the bolt on the lower arms for the shocks is too thick to go through the eye fitting, which is weird as they were specifically made for the MX5, let me know if you have any feedback.
Thanks
Terry

Does the bolt fit through the suspension bush?

Probably need to figure out if they didn't drill the hole large enough or if they supplied the wrong size bolt.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

The bolt is determined by the thread size on the arms, and it is about 1mm too thick, looks like I have to drill the coilover legs to suit the bolt size.

Sounds like some genius yank has used 1/2" bolts rather than M12?
