Hello,
For those who are aware, I started a YSR coilover thread previously to find out if they're any good and that has led me to be more confused as to which coilovers to purchase
So i am asking the MX5 forum readers that have coilovers fitted to their cars and dont mind a stranger in their car for a brief moment to feel the coilovers to reply and help me out?
Anyone who knows me please vouch for my niceness? lol

Re: Coilover TEST/S
Where in Sydney are you?
Like I said in the other thread, I've got Tein SS so if you are nearby, can arrange for a ride as a comparison. That said, it would only be fair to compare more or less on the same day and on the same roads.

somthing to remember also, when test driving several cars, is wheel tyre combinations also mask/affect the suspension feel.
Low profile hard sidewall tyres on 17s will feel very diferant to 'regular' DD tyres on 17s or particulary on 15s
The sidewall stiffness can vary substantially making ride harsh or comfy
Dont underestimate the differance these make.
I have some BFG GForce I am using as dailies, because the Dunlop StarSpecs just annoy me after a while, great tyre but the sidewalls are so stiff the ride is too harsh for me daily. Then the RS3s on same rims are whole diferant story again.

Re: Coilover TEST/S
Thanks for the response guys
and Loc im usually up for a drink after work (pale ale's included);)
I am in the Parramatta area though i cant help but imagine all coilovers with 8/6kg/mm spring rates would feel similar?
is anyone showing up on the run this Saturday?

Re: Coilover TEST/S
The biggest difference will be in the valving, a better quality shock on the same rate springs will be much more comfortable (in theory).
