quick response from bridgestone

"The Adrenalin RE001 pattern is currently being replaced by the Adrenalin RE002 pattern, however the majority of 60-series sizes are remaining as RE001.
The 185/60R14 size is one of these sizes that will remain the RE001 pattern.

Currently we have 198 units of the RE001 in the 185/60R14 size available in NSW warehousing and approx 450 units nationally."

So there are plenty out there, they are staying in a re001 pattern. I doubt a group buy would be any cheaper then the current deal.
At $80 a tyre (at 4 for 3), i am more than fine with that price.

Thanks Redondo! Great to have it confirmed that RE001s are still available in 185/60R14. They're excellent "bang for bucks" for NA owners. 8)

they will still have release agent on them but even so they are plenty grippy. a little more compliant than the toyo r1r's they replace. funnily enough they are actually taller (maybe a couple of mm) even though the r1r's were 205 50's. might be because the tread was down quite low on the r1r's though.

i got them from bridestone select at annandale on paramatta road.

Gee that sounds like a good price... that's fitted too right?

Do people know how often these deal occur?

Hmm...I was thinking about Hayden's tyres but these do look like a good deal!

Vic, might need to reconsider my thoughts on these.

Jebus...

RE002s

195/50/15 at $140 fitted (i.e. $105 each after discount!)

but

205/50/15 at $206 fitted (or $154.50 each after discount)

I think I better lock the 195s in this weekend!

I got a set of 185/60 R14 RE001s. They have to order them in but they come at $345 for a set of 4 tyres.

That's $86.25 each!!

Got mine from Bridgestone in Hornsby. Great service there. no affili.

185\60 14 RE001 none in stock Darwin, would have to order and ship them up from Adelaide, 5 days by which time the offer no longer applys :(

Sales guy said they have over 40 tyres in Adelaide if someone there wants to take advantage of it.

i'll really miss RE001's if they are discontinued, they grip very well and can produce a lot of smoke when needed!
