What do you use the car for?
Pottering to get milk at 10kph below the limit?
Long distance cruising?
Quick runs up and down mountains?
Trackdays?
etc.
Do you have a price range?
What's most important to you? Price/grip/tyre life/feel
If you've been happy with RE001 in the past, maybe look at the RE002.
I presonally have Toyo Proxes4 on my car, I found them to be the best combination of grip/cost/wear for my uses.

Hi Mate,
I do long distance crusing, and general travel daily within suburbs.
have been quoted on the RE002 and getting the $295ea mark. would of liked something around $225ea but I think they might be the way to go.

For you, it’s no contest. Michelin PP3. You won’t get a better tyre for the MX5.

Kumho KU31 for an everyday tyre would suit.

So I gather your NC RC is not for sale anymore? That's a good sign if it means you're still enjoying the drive. OK, first of all, you might like to peruse the excellent advice that was given to you in May 2009 and July 2010 when you previously asked about replacing tyres. Most of that advice is still perfectly valid. Beyond that, I'd recommend a set of Kumho KU31s. They suit your budget, offer decent grip and seem to last reasonably well. They can be a little noisy, but an MX-5 isn't exactly a "cone of silence" anyway.
