NC Shock Absorber recommendation

Yep, Shox.com. They deal with Fatcat so they got the bump stops for me and sent them with the shocks. Very nice of them.

Regarding the adjustment, it's 7.5 turns between full hard and full soft.

Rob, what settings did you use with your standard springs?

I want them to ride good but still want them to damp properly. The instructions say -5 turns is a good starting point (0 is hardest, -7.5 is softest). Left to my own devices I would set them at full soft then screw them up if they don't damp properly.

G'day Pete,
Mine were set to 4F/ 5R around town with the OEM springs.
Work around that to get the ride you want.
Up another 3 F and 2R for trackdays with the Front bar soft and the rear in the middle....could go up to hard on the rear depending on your driving style.
Bars are Selby/Pedders which are almost the same as the Whiteline ones.

Not at all. It was $599US for shocks, $90US for fatcats, $192 for shipping and Paypal costs.

Could have saved $30 by doing direct deposit but I didn't realize you could do it OS.

yep standard springs. The car handles brilliantly but hoping the Tokicos will improve the ride or at least maintain the original feel.

Just got back from a quick lap of Tassie to test the Tokicos and am very happy with them.

Had them set at -5 (soft) which felt great around town as the ride was improved but after one day of belting down winding roads I reset them to -3. At -5 the car lurched around tight corners, very unsporty. At -3 they feel much like the original shocks and handled the bumpy roads of Tassie really well.
