On my car it is rediculously difficult to get out, like I have to be pushing it with a flat blade screw driver while rocking it with the socket to get it out. Getting it in isnt much easier. I tried removing the lower bolt on a friends car and it was significantly easier. The pin is well greased, as is its cylinder. Pretty sure it is also a new pin, if not it was in good enough condition. I rebuilt the brakes a while back, which is also when I replaced its rubber boot (the one that goes all the way through)
Does anyone have any suggestions as to why it would be so tight??
Thanks
Lower front caliper slider pin (small one)

Re: Lower front caliper slider pin (small one)
Sounds like either the pin is bent, or the the cylnder bore is scored / damaged. Should be able to remove it by hand.
