TEIN SS - Refurbishment necessary?

Postby bootz » Wed Apr 06, 2011 5:19 pm

I recently acquired a set of TEIN SS, lightly used. No sign of fluid leakage.
A couple of the rubber boots inner to the springs have split. Is that something I should attend to? What is the best way of dealing with this, superglue? :frown:

I wouldn't worry about it. Many shocks, even a respected brand of coilovers I know of, do not even come with dust boots.

Thanks Zossy, I didn't know the rubber boots were optional. This is a very helpful forum. :D
