SSW Torino S114

Postby Sadzaq » Tue Feb 08, 2011 4:09 pm

Has anyone tried or seen these on an NA6. I was thinking of the 16x7.0 size.
The link below has a good pic and most relevant details.
Unfortunately I cant find a dealer for them in Melbourne.

They will fit fine at P42 offset (stock is 40), but don't be fooled by the picture - you won't have much lip at a P42 offset - pic is likely a zero offset wheel. I would be more worried about the weight - they look heavy and this has a major affect on ride quality in an NA or NB. Ideally you want around 7KG per wheel max. if they don't list a weight in the catalogue it's generally because they are heavy.

There's a set on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-new-SSW-Deep-dish-16-mags-new-Nankang-tyres-/180620359128?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a0dcff5d8

They do have a decent lip courtesy of the curved spoke design. Not sure how they would look on an MX-5...

Thanks Bigdog it was the ones on bay that got me lookin in the first place, they are in Brisbane I think that's why I was looking for opinions, if they were available in Melbourne I would be checking them out and asking for a test fit.
