Right,
I got 4 new tyres on my car today and as I don't have a jack low enough I also got the garage to install a front adjustable Whiteline sway bar for me as well. I asked for the bar to be installed on the "stiffest" setting. I drove home, noticing a difference but still not overly impressed. Got home, had a look under the car and the bar was installed in what I consider the softest setting.
Am I right in saying the stiffest setting are where the mounting holes (where it attaches to the drop links) furthest away from the straight part of the bar? Because currently the mounting bolts are installed in the holes nearest to the main part of the bar. (If that makes sense)
What do you guys think?

The closer to the bar axis the stiffer the setting.

when the hole is further from the main section of the bar, more leverage exists, meaning the end points can twist the bar with less force, making the furthest hole the softest setting
