i was at revoultion race gear and they had the new Maxxis ZR9 tire there
they look pretty good
has anyone used or heard anything about them
they only make them in 195/50/15 so far
thinking of try them out

i didn't even know maxxis had released these in australia yet. been around for a bit in the US.

mate of mine had a look in to it for me and there has only been four set in the country so far
revoultion only had one tire on show
maxxis are testing the water
sounds like they will be some where around r888 price
so ill get r888 for now as we know how good they are

Never heard of these before. They're not on the CAMS "Production Car Tyre List". Not much detail on the website.

Why would you think they would be on the CAM Pro Car Lsit? They ain't a comsumer tyre yet.
Personally I'd give any tyre a go, pending price and sizes available. Having only 195/50R15 to offer, it will be only a limited market they can offer to.

It wasn't my intention to assume anything. Just putting the info up for those who might consider using these in competitive motorsport.
