Laura,
I've cut the following out of a reply that was posted a few weeks ago about tyres. You'll see the Dunlop SP Sports Maxx didn't rate all that well in the dry but were excellent in the wet. Seems for your intended use they'd be fine
Drilling down into the scores, the ranking for dry performance was:
Bridgestone Potenza RE55S
Dunlop Direzza 03G
Toyo Proxes R888
Federal 595 RS-R
Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001
Maxxis Victra i-Pro
Pirelli P Zero Nero
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
Federal 595 Evo
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx
Continental Sportcontact 3
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric
In the wet, the rank was:
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx
Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE001
Continental Sportcontact 3
Hankook Ventus V12 Evo
Dunlop Direzza 03G
Toyo Proxes R888
Bridgestone Potenza RE55S
Maxxis Victra i-Pro
Pirelli P Zero Nero
Federal 595 RS-R
Federal 595 Evo
