I'm trying to find a place in Perth that stocks Hawk HP+ pads (or a similar brand, I'm not really fussed) for an NA6.
Any ideas?

I don't know if they stock Hawk pads but it might be worth asking http://www.perthbrakeparts.com.au/
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Ended up just getting some EBC Green Stuff for the fronts and leaving the standard rears (they had plenty of meat left on them).
I was worried they wouldn't hold up but I didn't really get any fade at all on the Barbagallo short track. I don't think the car is really fast enough to heat the brakes much!

The EBC green's seem to do the job well enough on the track for my car as well. My only qualm with them is that they're dusty as buggery. I don't think they're as aggressive as HP Plus pads though (as in they don't stop you as quickly). Once my green's have worn down I'm gonna get a set of HP Plus.

Yeah, they don't really seem to increase in 'bite' when they're hot; they seem to have the same amount of friction hot or cold. This means that they require a fair bit of pedal effort to lock, and once you get past a certain amount of force, pedal feel goes out the window a bit. I'm not sure if this is the pads, or possibly flex in the hoses/master cylinder?
Still, I was very happy with them as they lasted more than 40 laps (was sharing driving duties) without fading noticeably.
Using PBR BF-600 fluid, by the way.
