Eibach and Tokico nightmare.

Had a day off today so I decided I'd put the Eibach Pro springs, Tokico HTS shocks and Fatcat bumpstops into our NC.
Eibach are supposed to lower the car 30 to 35mm.
All went well till I dropped it back on the ground and found that I had a 50mm drop without even a drive around the block!!

Couldn't even get out of my driveway so nothing else to do but pull out the springs and refit the originals to the Tokicos.
Dropped the car back on the deck and went for a quick drive to settle all in before tightening all the bolts.
Surprised to see that I now have a 15mm drop!

Seems the original LE Bilsteins hold the car up about 15mm..it floats on gas, which probably explains why the car felt so unsettled with the Bilsteins.

Car feels much better in only a short drive an before any playing with shock adjustments.

Only one problem, the front tower brace on the NC covers the top of the shock so I'll need to remove it and drill a large hole in it to get to the adjuster.

Guard heights front are 380 std, 330 with Eibach and Tokico, 365 Std springs and Tokico

Now the hunt is on for some higher rated springs that will give me another 15 mm of drop.

Bummer, Racing Beat have a spring that drops 12mm.

Otherwise go to Lovells or Heasmans and get the Eibach's reset. Could be a faster and cheaper solution and you can set the height you want.

Mine was down to 330mm on the intial King development spring install 4 years ago. Way too low for street use. Looked gret though. I think 345mm would be ideal but you probably wouldn't make it up the drive.
