Hi guys,
I've just fitted some Hawk Performance Ceramic pads, and while doing so I thought that the metal plate attached to the pad seemed like an "integrated backing plate" for want of a better term. So I didn't use the Mazda backing/anti squeal plates on the new pads. Does this sound right, or should I have added the Mazda plates as well? There just didn't seem like there would be enough room for both.
Thanks in advance
Do Hawk pads have "built in" backing plate?

My HPS ones did Gerard, front and rear, and the plates are ones with tabs that hook over the edge.
You can probably JUST see them if you take a gander through the spokes.
