How to bring extra set of rims for Track day

Postby evil_weevil » Fri Mar 13, 2009 10:48 am

This was one thing I reslised when I bought my mx5....how am I going to get tyres to wakie? lol
Coming from a boat of a skyline, I could fit my semi's in the back seat, tools in the back and away I go

Now with the mx5, Currenty the car has 15" wheels with r888's, but Dad has a set of original 89 model wheels, so I'll be using them to drive to wakie, but I have to make sure I go with a few mates so they can take my semi slicks!

Otherwise for events at EC and OP I'll just drive on the semi's
Looking for an SVT motor for this:

Fatty; try letting some air out if it doesn't wiggle in... Unless you don't have a pump at the other end of the journey... :D

Thanks to this thread I came home last Saturday with a set of 4 original NA6 wheels with tyres in addition to a used hardtop. Got the lot for $1000. The hardtop is in desperate need of a respray but there's probably a few track days still in the tyres. And my NA6 is now more weather tight parked out front. Bargain!
