oh before you exchange them weigh them and see which one is lighter, and weigh stock and see if king is lighter or if OEM is lighter...

it shouldn't matter if it is second hand or not. If someone has sold you an item of a specific quality, you should expect it to be of that quality.
The item in question would've been advertised as NB springs, and they aren't. It is pretty clear, so they are obliged to refund your money or provide you the springs that is advertised.

unless of course, there was no representation that the springs are NB springs.

No, i had asked if they were nb springs countless time and each time i was assured that they were for an NB. No hard feelings against, dick or his establishment he is a great guy, and he has a wonderful business. Im just a bit upset because of the distance, and difficulty of exchange. Never the less i will contact him, however as for an exchange i doubt it is possible as he would have exchange with brand new springs. I guess theres only one way to find out. Alternatively he could give me the set of peddars springs which are in good nice, with a lowering ratio of 30mm

Would anyone reccomend?

Whats wierd is that i had a look at my rear shock assembly and i have a flat perch. Not a helical one like previously suggested.

It makes a little sense, because if someone like dick was to make a mistake like that i would imagine it would be because of an unfamilial stocked item. However he had these rear ones on his wall of goodies labelled as nb springs. I even had my mech look at the shocks and hes pretty sure they are a flate bed, which would suggest the rears are infact nb. Anyone with two different sets of the both who could confirm?
