Hello,

I was looking at my engine bay the other day and noticed that the cable going to my edfc motor for looking a bit tight, what had happened was that the whole strut (I think) had rotated, I don’t think its just the motor rotating on the top :?
I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else or if anyone knew how to stop it from happening,
I twisted it back and the big nut underneath it turned as well rather than just the edfc motor,
It’s happened a few times now

Thanks for any assistance anyone can give.

I've had mine in the car for a year and they havn't budged an inch. Are you sure the motor was fitted tightly?

Tein make something to solve this, chat to fulcrum.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

When I took my car to Centreline recently they reckoned one of the the front struts was way out on the setting compared to the other one and I am sure that they had been set up at the same setting.ie. one was set at 7 off hard and the other at 14! Strangely i had not noticed any handling difference.

Could this be a similiar issue?

Additional Features for Strut Kit:
• Uses a stopper bracket to eliminate tangling of EDFC wiring on strut type front suspensions.
Tangling is caused by the strut suspension design which rotates when turning the wheels. Without the Strut kit the EDFC wires will become tangled and may break.

Strut Kit
(Recommended for vehicles with Strut type front only)
Part Number EDK06-K4474
- Anti-Tangle Brackets × 1 set (good for a pair of dampers)
RRP $33 USD
