mazdaspeed na8/nb8a brake pads?

Postby Fatty » Wed Apr 16, 2008 9:52 pm

hey guys.

i recently upgraded from na6 brakes to na8/nb8a brakes thanks to mx5 plus.

the parts were all second hand and came with these mazdaspeed pads, they are painted green. the pads have plenty of life left in them. does anyone know anything about these pads?? i did not re-use them, i am using bendix ultimates instead. but i'm still not happy with the bendix pads on the track.... they glaze up after a bit of abuse.

so, are these mazdaspeed pads good for track days?

any and all advice is appreciated.

put the Mazdaspeed pads in the car and take the Bendix ( I wont touch them ) to the track for a quick change if the mazdaspeed pads are S**T

Fatty odd you are getting so much glazing. Are you bedding the pads in before using them?

with the na6 ones i did... but actually with this most recent set, i just didn't really get a chance to. i attempted a bit of bedding in on the drive over to adelaide but it's not easy to do when you're convoying.

good point tho. if these ones were bedded in they probably woulda been fine.
