Introducing myself- new member. Problem with the new Mx5

Hi,

I have just read this thread, I am truely amazed that the saying sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me will never die.

I would hate to say that MX5's handle like sh*t to some forum members but mine did. After deciding that overall an NB MX5 suited my needs I test drove several and decided eventually on one that handled and drove the best. It still handled poorly. Not what I expected from a car like the MX5.

But, after new tyres and a wheel alignment based on the spec's from this forum it has truely trasnformed into an excellent handling machine. It is making me revisit all areas of handling to get into and out of corners even harder after a roll cage is installed.

This MX5 owner was just asking a well structured question about his problems with his current MX5. Give him a little more credited and senserity and assist or don't respond. F??K it is only a car, all this aggression should be directed at things that are more life and death.

I look forward to the outcome after a good wheel alignment for a car that one day I may like to own.

MX5 are what they are, an excellent designed sports car.

As you suggested, it doesn't sound like it's driving like a 5 and something is wrong.

My NBs handling transformed after getting the dealer spec alignment corrected

sorry for the ignorance ASE, but what were the specifications of the wheel alignment for your NB to get it handling perfectly?
