1) Do you preform corner weight before or after an alignment?
2) Where in melbourne do I get it done and roughly how much?
3) I presume optimal weight distribution for the MX5 is 50:50 front to back and 50:50 side to side??
4) I presume you can have it lowered an inch and still have correct corner weight?
5) Is it ALL done by simply adjusting the height of the coilovers?
6) If so, has anyone done this at home with some large sized bathroom scales?
7) Once preformed I will NEVER have to do this again?? (Unless I change coilovers or start removing more weight off the car)
8 ) I presume you sit in the car while its done?

Both to a degree (lol) I'd do any major changes before and you may need some slight tweeking of toe afterwards.

Your doing diagonals not front to back so shouldn't matter

Should do unless you've run out of adjustment of your coilovers.

oh the pain... I've been down this track with a 530kg car and it was horrid probably got it close but with the 5 you'd need to use 8 scales and share the load (most scales top out just over 130/150kg). Then you have dramas with the scales binding etc etc. forget it unless your a machochist.

no its something you do, springs sag with age, you alter ride heights to alter handling characteristics or you lose or gain weight.

Ideally, but you can use weights in the drivers seat to get to what you weight, you want to also use the fuel loads you use when you take the car onto the track along with taking out the spare and any other associated weight that you take out for track specs.
