Hullo fellow Brisbanites I would like to ask a favour;
Can anyone please help me remove all my brake discs and keep my car at their garage just for a few days while the discs are getting machined?
Before you all ask, \"why don't you just take it to the shop and have them do it\",... if I give the discs to a friend of mine, he can get them done for the princely sum of $0.00
The usual barter of a six-pack of your favourite amber-coloured fermented liquid for your troubles ... ?
Thanks in advance
Andrew
Or ... can anyone recommend a place to do it for a good price as it needs very little machining.

My friend is a mechanic for a well-known dealership chain up here.
They just bought a new machining tool (whatever it is), and I'm sure it would be similar to ones used by specialised brake shops.
My discs are actually in very good nick as the surface is as smooth as can be expected, and there is only a hint of lip on the fronts. I am getting new pads next week and I just want to get things 100%.
Thanks for the advice Matty. I might just bite the bullet and get a shop to do it.

but the other problem is you won't get to drive the mx5 while the disc is getting machined
and how long will it take?
