Hi folks,
I have some old (prob 4 years, maybe a little more) tyres sitting in the shed, which I had kept at the time for track use, as they were no longer road legal.
I haven't dug them out lately to have a close look at their condition, but am wondering how quickly tyres go off if not used. Is it worth using them again, or should I just get rid of them?
They don't suit my current cars, so was considering offering them to someone, but don't want to do that if the tyres aren't safe to use still....
Thanks in advance

Tyres are supposed to be good for at least 7 years if kept n the shade.
Generally, check out the sidewalls for any cracking in the rubber.
If there are no cracks, they tyre's probably OK, but if you do see cracks appearing, then turf them out.
There's probably some kid out there with some old bomb running on 14\" rims that would love to have those tyres...................
