hey, i just got my wheel alignment done last week but they did it so when im at neutral, going straight, the steering wheel is tilting left a few degrees. they didnt tell me or nething. they said that its done to compensate for the general slope to the left on the roads.
is this common? im going to ask them to put it back b/c i dont like it what so ever.

hmm yeah i didnt realise it was an NC, wouldnt do that then (i thought it was an older model silly me)
Oh and i dont think the airbag would matter... i have a MOMO with airbag on our NA (it came with the car), the airbag section pops out with 2 bolts.

[quote="ncmx5"] they said that its done to compensate for the general slope to the left on the roads.

what a load of crap. If that was true the steering wheel would be pointed to the right, else you would be heading for the pavement.

yeh, well,
they're suppose to be a suspension specialist... ill give them a call tomorrow.
yeah - bruce -
the steering wheel points left, but it goes straight. so when ur on a slope on the left lane... the road supposedly tilts left, and so u naturally tilt it right to compensate the slope.. by then.. they say that the steering wheel will be \"neutral\" forward.

What Craig, JBT and Gary said.
When they did the alignment they must have had the wheel on an angle, take it back and get them to fix it. This happens all the time they should just fix it.
I'd never take my car to a generic tyre fitter to do the alignment.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
