installed front/rear bracing

i just finished installing my bracing today.

i managed to buy a racing beat front brace and fabricated my own rear brace. i decided to buy the front as i was goping to struggle making something as stiff and compact.

i drove around with the front on for a couple of days. i feel that the turn in is somewhat sharper.




now after installing the rear i have taken it for one brief drive today and on first impressionis seems a lot more eager to progress into oversteer. has anyone expereinced similar??? its fun but it felt like it used to hold on a little longer. maby i just need to become a little less egar with the right foot

So, where did you get the racing beat front brace. I'm thinking of getting one at a good price.

You might want to have another fiddle with your wheel alignment settings. You should be able to dial out the oversteer.

yes when i intstalled the front lower brace the steering became more responsive. in a very poitive way. I must have had serious understeer before that without realising it.
It requires a fair amount less steer to achieve the same amount of turn. Loved it.
Rear ....beacuse i've had the BD roll bar installed for a long time.....i noticed absolute no difference in rigidety....with new ballanced wheels......there is absolutley no hint of any 100km/h shimmy or any speed above & below the infamous 100km/h shimmy.

yep, if you have a look at the racing beat web page it shows them as their aus dealer. they had imported it for someone else how never got it so they only had the one in stock. you'd have to give them a ring for price. they had the rear one as well for 200 but i wanted to make my own and save the $
