NB8B OEM Tyres ?

Postby KAM » Wed Jul 12, 2006 4:56 pm

What were the OEM tyres fitted to a 2001 NB8B

Make, size etc.

What are they like for grip/handling (wet and dry), noise, wear ?

What are good alternatives that aren't too expensive.
Car will be used on the road only for weekend drives, Club runs etc.

G'day KAM, I reckon you're looking at 205/45/16 as the OEM tyres for the 2001. Tyre selection is a very personal & subjective thing, have a browse through this forum & you will find some pretty reliable feedback.
For what it's worth, I've fairly recently fitted a set of Michelin Pilot Precedas and I couldn't be happier.
Good luck with your projects.

Bridgestone Turanzas in 2001 I think?? I'm happy with my T1R Toyos, but the Preceda IIs are probably just as good.

There are a lot better tyres out there for less money than the OEM Turanzas.

Thanks for the replies.

Picked up the car on Thursday and ended up fitting Bridgestone Potenza GIII's

So far very happy with them and the car

Kym
