KYB AGXs - what settings you using?

Postby SuperMazdaKart » Wed May 31, 2006 11:10 pm

just had my set finally installed completely early this week & hopefully i'll get to play with the settings on the weekend if the weather is good.

so what settings you use with what springs & tyre/wheel size?

i've got 14\" Starcorps with standard sized tyres, although some cheapo Nexen brand & Whiteline springs

& where did you put the KYB stickers?? :P

5 in front and 4 in the back.

Yeah I'm totally hardcore lol.

P.S. using some unknown springs, but car is now crazy low (guesstimate at very least 1.25\" drop from standard..?)

On my NA I used to use 3 at the front and 2 at the back with stock springs. Or 3 at the back with the hardtop or a full boot. You might need a bit more with stiffer springs though. From memory 2 is similar damping to the stock Mazda shocks

But you only have 4 settings Andrew. The NA's have 8.

Cal.

They're great!. Plus I feel like I'm driving a fooli hectik spek machine cos I now have to take speed bumps at an angle. Nothing that bigger wheels won't fix though 8).

Handling-wise the car feels more snappy, which is both a blessing and a disaster waiting to happen if I'm not too careful. I think that's more of a result of my alignment settings however.
