upgrades

hey,
for thoes who know, i'm going to moss motors in america around october of this year.
i plan to upgrade the suspension to topend stuff..
i want to strenghten the body
and make her handel like a dream around corner...

i'm looking to spend about 4-5k all up
(shocks and springs - i might be looking at tein SS from aus)

anyone give me some suggestions as to what you might add in?
whats good?
whats bad?

Talk to the people at Fulcrum Moorooka first and see what they have in the way of packages. I believe they have Tein stuff. They did my Koni/Kings thing. It sometimes pays to buy everything in Australia just so you're covered should things break prematurely.

Ted (on this forum) has intimate knowledge of MX-5 suspensions and what Fulcrum can do so try to look up some of his old postings on the subject.

Sounds great Muzza . They can probably get hold of all the extra chassis bracing you might want as well. Did you ask about that too?

most of the shops can order in stuff from other businesses, or if not, shipping within the US is cheap.

Flyin Miata butterfly braces, and Tein Flex with 6/7kg front springs and 4kg back springs, would be the absolute dogs bollocks.

if you are looking for the top of the line suspensions you cant look past ohlins - but dont know if they make them for the mx5 - big dollars though
